There are many, many books I would like to read.
Especially about knitting- because I, so far, am absolutely loving it!

This is one I've seen on more than one knitter's blog...
I have made one scarf so far. The most basic, simple scarf- it's quick and easy and so versatile, because you can create it in any color or color combination imaginable. It would be fun to learn how to make other cute scarves...
I looked through this one briefly online, and it looks like a great "beginner's" book. Lots of tips, tricks, and easy to understand how-to's.
Anyway, I'm just dreaming here. There's no way I'll have the time to even get through one of these in a short amount of time. But, I love books and I love reading, and it's fun to keep sort of a "to read" list.
What's on your reading list?

Ooh, I'd like to read all those books too! Although I'm not nearly as far into knitting as you. I still haven't learned how to cast off so I can't get any further on my bag even, and those are the only needles I have, so I haven't started anything else either. I'm itching to make a wool soaker (diaper cover) for Miles, like the one shown on the cover of the expectant knitter book. And a hat for Rich. Oh, the projects I'd do if only I had the time and knowledge... :-)
Maybe I can learn some more on Saturday if it doesn't snow too much. And maybe we can do lunch too? I need to get out of the house and do something! I'm going stir crazy around here :-)
Haha- I understand the need to get out! :D Yeah, lunch would be great! I had her show me yesterday how to "bind off" so I could stop knitting my little daycare girl's scarf! It's not too hard. She went over a bunch of other stuff with me too- for the bag- but I don't think any of it stuck with me. Also, I had my little daycare guy with me (wasn't sure how that was going to go), and we found out she has a three drawer thing of toys! He can't wait to go back, haha! :)
Do you know a great website (w/ pics) that would give me a quick refresher course on knitting? It's been probably 2 years since I've last knitted because last winter was all about wedding planning... and I want to get into it again...
I just do the basic knit and purl stitches with scarves... but its still relaxing for me! :)
Well, I know YouTube has some good videos on the basics- I also found a 3 dvd set on Amazon that I'm going to get at some point this winter that teaches you. I'll post about it when I find it again.
Just wanted to let you know that I found a great website that refreshed my memory... looks like it has some more advanced techniques also.
