Hubby just called and said he's going to be leaving town for work on Monday- for nearly two weeks.
He'll miss Valentine's Day.
We weren't going to do anything fancy- just get some cheap take-out, and watch movies in cozy p.j.s, but I was really excited about it.

Aw, what a bummer. I'm sorry: Rich has been gone (out to sea, or working) every year for the past 5 years. This year he's going to have the weekend off, finally. But I know how it feels. Maybe you can celebrate when Pete gets home?
Yeah, I hope it will work out to do a rain-check. I'll just have to eat some chocolate by myself. ;)
