Hey, Erica!

"Just popping in to say..."

"

toooooo, yoooooooooooouuuu!"

"(Just ignore that name on the cake... the bakery was confused. Really.)"

Here's your in-the-works birthday present- please pardon the bad photography...

It's really more of an emerald green- all that sunlight we got today kind of washed out the color.

What it looks like sitting all alone.

And, here you can see what the "body" of the hat will look like (kinda).

I'm hoping it will fit your head- I used mine to gauge the size, being the only head I had close at hand, and you know how freakishly small my noggin is...so, I'm hoping that the stretchy-ness of the yarn will cover all sins. :D

Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! A little late by this point, I know, but since you're my sister, you have no choice but to forgive me.......mwahahahahaha!

:D

Love you, baby sis.

Happy Birthday.

I'm so proud. :D

My little sister is all grown up.

She's married now, and a photographer in the Twin Cities.

Check out her work at Erica's Blog.

I Need Input!

Okay, what do you all think?

My little sister, the professional photographer, took pictures for us at Thanksgiving.

(It's so GREAT to have a photographer in the immediate family! Yay! Lifetime supply of great, affordable pictures- woohoo!!!)

Which one should we go with for our "family" picture this year?

New Family Members

My little sister, Erica, and her husband got PIGS!

Guinea pigs, that is.

Oh, how it brings back memories of "Miss Frizzle" our beloved guinea pig from childhood.

Hey now! Stop that laughing you family members out there!

It was an ACCIDENT people, an ACCIDENT!!!

(sigh...it's a long and painful story- granted, it was probably mostly just painful for Miss Frizz, but still, I felt bad. Really bad. Oh, the scars we carry from childhood.)

ANYhoo, here they are- still waiting to be named! :D

Welcome to the family little oinkers!
